Leo was a good lion. He always woke up early, brushed his teeth and bathed every morning. Leo also had the habit of taking a walk in the morning to see his friends Rob the rabbit and Antonio the ant.
One day Leo was walking through a garden when he heard someone shouting “Help! Help!”. The shout was so familiar to Leo. “I think someone is calling for help” Leo thought. Leo started following the sound and reached a dark well. The person calling for help was Rob the rabbit!
“How did you fall in the well?” asked Leo. “I saw a carrot at the garden and wanted to get it, but I didn’t see the well and fell into it” said Rob. Just then Leo saw a big stick. He asked Rob to hold on to the stick and Leo pulled him out.
Rob was saved and he thanked Leo.
After saving Rob, Leo heard a cry for help coming from another well! And it was Antonio the ant who was also stuck.
Leo got an idea and grabbed a big leaf from a tree nearby. He used it to pull Antonio and save him from the well. Antonio thanked Leo for saving him.
“How did you fall into the well?” Leo asked. “I saw a bread on the floor and wanted to grab it, but I didn’t see the well” Antonio replied.
Then Leo noticed that every animal in the forest was watching him rescue both Rob and Antonio. Leo gasped in shock as an elephant came towards him and said “Leo, you are the king of the jungle!”. Leo was happy to be recognized. He then advised everyone to always help and care for each other.
